Cadillac Ranch, Amarillo, TX (Tue.2/12)

It's the Berryhill's fault that we knew about this place, although it's in the Johnny Cash video for “I've been Everywhere”. Maybe that's how you know when you've been everywhere is when you've been to Cadillac Ranch.

You can stand out in the field with the livestock and are encouraged to spray-paint cars. Well, what do you know, I had a can of spray paint along.

Here lies 10 used Cadillacs from 1949 to 1963 which are half-buried face down facing West "at the same angle as the Cheops' pyramids.". They look a bit like bad car skydiving accidents – maybe that's why cars don't skydive. Another millionaire with too much time and money, I guess.
