Boston, MA (Tue.9/4,Fri.9/7)

Freedom trail

We went into one of the old churches which has the terrible setup of individual spots for each person or family. How much money you paid decided how close to the front you were able to buy your seat (ok for a rock concert, but yikes at church, not where the cross is on level ground for all of us to come to!). Anyway, they have a sign as you enter for everyone to remove their hats. I liked what the family behind us did, as they removed their hats, they sat down and then proceeded to changed the baby's stinky diaper.

At Paul Revere's house we learned of some of the errors in the poem. Though Longfellow was an excellent writer he was not a historian, he got it mostly right. Does anyone know the errors? Quiz the boys – see if they remember.

We rode the “T” one day and drove the big 20 foot long truck downtown another. We made it both ways, but I prefer the train.

Our youngest patriots – middle of day 1 and end of day 2 of freedom trail. Reliability test “Run to failure” complete.
