In the 5er, Castle Rock, CO (Sat.5/10-Sun.5/11)

It was kind of rainy and cold this weekend so we played some Hand and Foot with the Leberts, listened to a Hope sermon in the 5er, and went out to eat at Chili's for Mother's Day.

Pike's Peak literature says that they are open year round weather permitting. They are still not open to the top, because of snow. The literature really ought to read “Open mostly during the summer, weather permitting” We wanted to hike it, but we'll add it to the list (for another time). We will be content to admire from a distance.
