One month in California... can make $4/gal diesel fuel seem cheap. We'll take whatever relief we can get. 
Nearly the entire coast of Oregon was set aside for state parks and a large chunk of that is for the dunes!
I have a soft place in my heart (it's true) for the off-roaders / dirt-bikers of the world.
Probably a hundred of these in the park
It was a quick stay and we didn't rent bikes, sigh... We're off to Washington!
